Description

Senior Litigation Associate: A Pathway to Independence

At Aeton, we're not just a law firm; we're an incubator for legal skill and career success. Our business and commercial litigation practice group seeks a Senior Litigation Associate attorney who thrives on autonomy and the pursuit of excellence. You are someone who values accuracy, proactivity, and a no-nonsense approach to the complexities of the law. You'll direct your own matters, embracing first chair responsibilities in jury and bench trials across state, federal courts, and arbitrations, while also having the opportunity to act as second chair in high-stakes litigation alongside our seasoned partners.

Your Role:

  • Autonomy in Action: Manage and conduct all litigation phases, from strategy to courtroom, without the constraint of micromanagement.
  • Strategic Thinker: Utilize your rational, forward-thinking mindset to provide insightful guidance and develop litigation strategies that challenge conventional norms.
  • Scholarly Pursuits: Dive deep into legal research, drafting pivotal pleadings and motions with a level of precision that reduces the need for oversight.
  • Mentorship with a Purpose: Share your knowledge by leading and mentoring junior associates, shaping the future of our firm's litigation prowess.
  • Innovative Litigation: Engage in varied and challenging legal issues, ensuring your intellectual curiosity is always engaged and your skills are ever-evolving.
  • Private Workspace: Enjoy the flexibility of work-from-home options and private workspaces at one of our office locations tailored for deep, introspective work.

Qualifications:

  • Bar Admission: Connecticut and U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
  • Experience: At least four years in business and commercial litigation, showcasing an ability to handle complex litigation independently.
  • Skills: Exceptional researching and writing capabilities, with a factual, direct approach to communicating complex legal issues.

What We Offer:

  • Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000+ per year, experience-dependent.
  • Benefits: A comprehensive package, including opportunities for advanced education through seminars and classes, ensuring you remain the resident guru of litigation.

Why Aeton?

We're a firm that appreciates the nuances of the legal mind that prefers solitude to brainstorm, strategize, and innovate. Aeton is the arena for those who see themselves not just as attorneys but as architects of strategy and client success, mentors to the next generation, and vessels for innovative legal ideas. Your journey with us will be one of continuous growth, challenge, and the satisfaction of knowing your work is both respected and impactful.

Embark on a career where your individuality is celebrated, your intellectual independence is encouraged, and your professional growth is inevitable. Join Aeton, where your unique traits aren't just welcomed; they're essential to our collective success.
