- Digital Marketing Specialist
Description
The continued growth of The Fund Raising School has led us to search for a digital marketing expert who will design and implement online strategies to increase current and new markets. This is a 25-29 hours per week, part-time employee position.
Our new colleague will have comprehensive knowledge of the philanthropic sector; strong ability to attract participants to new courses on non-fundraising topics associated with philanthropy; and innovative agility to increase our school's exposure internationally.
Work remotely while making the world a better place by strengthening philanthropy.
Candidates with significant experience, leading-edge expertise, and demonstrated evidence of digital marketing results are welcome to submit a resume.
Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Work Experience
Required: Five or more years of proven experience in digital marketing, including website management, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
Preferred
Seven or more years of proven experience in digital marketing, including website management, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising in higher education or the nonprofit sector.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Skills
Required
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms including Google Analytics and similar social media management tools
Creative and entrepreneurial thinker with a passion for digital marketing and philanthropy
Demonstrated success in growing current and new markets through innovative digital marketing strategies and implementation
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills
Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
Highly thorough and dependable
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents
Preferred
Experience in higher education, philanthropy, or nonprofit sector.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS)
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation. Some travel may be required.
Job Location
While The Fund Raising School is located on the campus of IU Indianapolis, hybrid and remote work for this position is available.
