Who we are looking forThis role, reporting to the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance, is a leadership position with the global Sanctions Compliance Program and is responsible for leading the sanctions SME input into the risk assessment, managing the risk prioritization and IT oversight for the multi-year sanctions technology roadmap, running point on new business initiatives presenting sanctions risk, and managing program change work.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. Our standard hybrid model is 4 days on site and 1 day remote. Preferred location is Boston or Quincy, MA. We will also consider applicants from: Stamford, CT; Princeton and Clifton, NJ; Berwyn, PA; Atlanta, GA.

What you will be responsible for
As Lead, Sanctions Risk & Strategic Program Management & Implementation, Vice President you will be responsible for:
- oversight of sanctions program screening implementations and upgrades;
- leading analysis and advisory on strategic sanctions program issues;
- leading ad hoc investigations into sanctions risk issues;
- acting as key sanctions lead for annual risk assessment;
- oversight of research and provision of timely sanctions guidance on escalated business issues, new products and services, and local sanctions risk issues;
- assisting in and/or leading the analysis/review of current processes and recommending and implementing solutions that improve processes and mitigate risk;
- directing and participating in the operational and process analysis and change management activities on a global scale, including solution recommendations and implementation associated with business and compliance related activities.
- serving as representative on relevant governance and working groups;
- supporting response to regulatory and internal audit exam requests; and
- overseeing and supporting sanctions-related projects and initiatives .

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience with focus in business, accounting, finance, criminal justice or equivalent;
- 5-10+ years experience with US, EU, UN, and other sanctions programs or equivalent;
- Knowledge of transaction message types (e.g. ACH, SWIFT, CHIPS, SEPA, etc.);
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment & make critical decisions within tight deadlines; and
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range:
$110 000 - $177 500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
