WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Leading a team of three to five people in preparing orders, moving inventory, and accurately loading trucks
- Communicating and collaborating with the warehouse manager, distribution manager, HR team, and 3rd-shift employees
- Overseeing timely inventory picking, order packing, and furniture assembly
- Printing and separating tickets
- Bringing concerns to management and resolving issues as they come up
- Ensuring team members work safely, promptly, and accurately
- Training staff as needed
- Tackling other warehousing responsibilities as needed
MUST-HAVES FOR OUR WAREHOUSE SHIFT LEADER:
- Physical ability to regularly lift and move 75+ lbs.
- Working knowledge of Pegasus and AX software
- Strong mathematical skills
- Valid, current driver's license
- Outstanding English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Time management and task prioritization abilities
