Hurwitz Sagarin & Slossberg is seeking a dedicated, hard-working litigation attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in courtroom proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
•  Take and defend depositions of parties and fact witnesses
• Research factual and legal issues and collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, discovery demands and responses, motions, and briefs
• Examine records and transactions, underlying business disputes, and potential client claims
• Work across a variety of litigation practice areas including but not limited to antitrust, class actions, unfair trade practices, business disputes, and employment.

Qualifications:

•  A passion for litigating
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar (required)
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Experience with Connecticut State Court and Federal Court practice
• Federal or state judicial clerkship experience (preferred)
• Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability to work independently
• Prior experience in commercial litigation is preferred, but not required

Work Environment and Expectations:

•  A full-time, in-person opportunity in Hurwitz Sagarin and Slossberg’s Milford Office
• Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000
